Caption: Europa at Jupiter's moon Europa, illustration. The Europa mission is a space probe being planned by NASA to conduct detailed observations of Jupiter's moon Europa and to investigate if it has conditions suitable for life. It's launch is planned for some time in the 2020s. The probe would fly past the moon around 45 times. It would be equipped with ice-penetrating radar, a high-gain antenna, a magnetometer, and a remote-sensing palette, which houses the rest of the science instrument payload.
