Crested black macaques (Macaca nigra). Female crested black macaque grooming a juvenile. This monkey, also known as the celebes crested macaque, is native to Sulawesi and the neighbouring islands in Indonesia. It feeds mostly on fruit, but will also eat leaves, flower buds, fungus, bird eggs and insects. Photographed in Tangkoko National Park, North Sulawesi, Indonesia.
