Caption: Macrophotograph of a glass fibre fabric. The weave pattern seen here is called '4H satin'. This fabric is used to make 'fibreglass' products. The fabric is laid into a mould, then impregnated with a binary plastic stiffener. When set, the component has a good rigidity, low weight and a smooth surface. Magnification x3 at 6x7cm size.
