Caption: This sagittal (from the side) T2 weighted MRI image of the thoraco-lumbar spine shows a moderate, benign (osteoporotic) compression fracture (shown in pink). There is loss of heigh, anterior wedging and signal abnormality in the compression fracture consistent with an acute (recent) fracture. There is no significant compromise of the spinal canal. This is a colorized version of BF3211.
