Scientists in Scotland have determined that male attractiveness depends on at what part of the menstrual cycle the woman is on. Women who were ovulating (and therefore most likely to conceive) chose male faces that were more masculine. Women who were on their periods, chose more feminised male faces, deeming them to be of more stable long-term material.
