The ancient Nasca lines in Peru are some 2000 years old and researchers have used the latest in computer technology and mapping techniques to re-create these lines as three dimensional maps. The purpose of these maps is to study in detail the 'geoglyphs' and perhaps suggest a reason for their existence.
