Nerd Herd

The "Nerd Herd" is the most ambitious attempt yet to make robots behave like real, living creatures. Professor Maja Mataric of Brandeis University, Massachusetts, has assembled the largest group of functional robots that move around and can pick up objects. There are over two dozen robots, each communicating with each other via two-way radios, helping to complete a given task.
