Myeloma blood cancer. Light micrograph of a section through bone marrow affected by myeloma. Myeloma is a cancer of plasma cells, a type of white blood cell. Here a large number of plasma cells (dark, circular) are present, whereas these cells are only a very minor constituent of normal marrow.
