Aneurysmal bone cyst. X-ray showing an aneurysmal bone cyst (dark patch, upper left) on the lower fibula (calf bone) of a patient's leg. This cyst is a lesion on the bone which has a thin wall containing blood filled cyst cavities. A giant cell tumour is the most common cause, although it may be due to an injury of the bone.
