Passenger aircraft construction. Technician checking the electrical system of an Airbus A321 passenger plane that is being built. The central section of an A321 contains 300 kilometres of wiring and cables. Every electrical outlet, relay and socket, and all the pilot's lights are tested 21,000 times at 28 volts and then another 21,000 times at 1200 volts. If the slightest anomaly is detected among the 42,000 contacts, the entire electrical system will be rechecked. Photographed at EADS (European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company), Hamburg, Germany.
