Caption

Prostate cancer radiotherapy paperwork. Medical worker contacting prostate cancer patients by phone in advance of volume study and treatment. The volume study stage of the treatment involves using scans to create a three-dimensional image of the prostate to aid planning of the next stage. Radioactive sources are then implanted in the tissue in a procedure known as brachytherapy, a form of radiotherapy. Photographed at the Edinburgh Cancer Centre, Western General Hospital, Scotland.
