Prostate cancer radiotherapy equipment being handled by a medical worker. At lower left are needles and graduated guides into which radioactive sources are loaded prior to implantation in the prostate of patients with prostate cancer. At upper right is a cutter used to cut the radioactive sources to the right size. The graduated guides are used to guide the implants to the correct depth. The procedure, known as brachytherapy, is a form of radiotherapy.
