Caption

Red spider mite (Tetranychus sp.), close-up footage. This mite is a plant parasite and economic pest that is found on vegetable crops, fruit trees, and flowers. It feeds on sap from leaves, causing them to mottle, change colour and fall off. Spider mites are so-named because they spin a web across the leaf surface that secures them and protects them against predators.
