Photo essay at La Louviere clinic, France. Patient and doctor. Cardiology. Transesophageal echography. In spite of the fact that a transesophageal echography does not require a specific asepsis, it is realized in preference in a recovery room equipped of instruments necessary in case of a rupture of the cardiac rythm (defibrillator, etc.). The TEE permits an echographic observation of the heart under an angle (chirurgical) much more precise that a regular echography seldom interfered by the thoracic cage.
