FUNDUS OCULI EXAMINATION Photo essay at the hospital of Meaux (77), France. Department of ophtalmology. Examination of the fundus oculi by optical coherence tomography (OCT) with the equipment Stratus Oct (Carl Zeiss Meditec). The optical coherence tomography is a technique couplant the tomography and the interferometry of type Michelson. It enables the examination of the posterior segment of the eye (retina and optical nerve) by transversal sections. The optical coherence tomography is mainly used to early screening and the therapeutic follow-up of the glaucoma and pathologies of the macula (diabetic retinopathies, ARMD, ...).
