Urogram (X-ray) of the abdomen in a young patient showing a ureterocele, and a catheter (white tube) passing up the swollen ureter. A ureterocele is when the ureter, the tube that carries urine from the kidney to the bladder (at bottom), is enlarged at the end connected to the bladder, and this affects the whole ureter and kidney. It is usually a congenital condition, but here it is a sign of radiation disease.
