Organizing pneumonia. Coloured axial computed tomography (CT) scan through the chest and lungs of a 71-year-old man with organising pneumonia. This disease, classified as an interstitial lung disease, was formerly called bronchiolitis obliterans organizing pneumonia (BOOP). It occurs in response to injury to the tissues of the lung. This scan shows bilateral pulmonary condensations.
