Retiform hemangioendothelioma, light micrograph. Retiform hemangioendothelioma is a rare vascular neoplasm, considered a low grade angiosarcoma. Tumoral cells are differentiating into vessels, which branch in a rete pattern reminiscent of rete testis. Few red blood cells are seen within the lumen. There is no nuclear atypia nor mitotic figures.
