Top down view of an angle shades moth (Phlogophora meticulosa) resting on a branch in a garden habitat. The flight period is May to October with up to two generations each year. This species is a member of the Noctuidae family and is found throughout the UK, Europe and the palearctic ecozone. The larval food plants are a range of herbaceous plants. Photographed in Somerset, UK, in September.
