Side view of a wool carder bee (Anthidium manicatum) roosting on a twig in an olive grove habitat. This family of bees get its name due to the females habit of combing wool fibres from plants to use as nesting material. It is found across Europe including the UK. Photographed in Corfu, Greece, in July.
