Top down view of a v-pug moth (Chloroclystis v-ata) resting on a shed in a garden habitat. The flight period is May to June and again in August with up to two generations each year. This species is a member of the Geometridae family and is found across Europe. The larval food plant is a range of deciduous trees and bushes including elder and bramble. Photographed in Somerset, UK, in June.
