Caption

Nudibranch eggs. Curled spiral-shaped clutch of nudibranch (sea slug, Dendronotus frondosus) eggs. Nudibranchs are shell-less marine molluscs with external gills. They are hermaphroditic but rarely fertilise themselves and lay their eggs in a characteristic spiral shape.
