Excrement treatment site in Senegal. Controller supervising an excrement treatment site in Dakar, Senegal. This is the site of an Omni Processor, developed with the help of the Bill Gates Foundation. It processes and recycles the waste of 100,000 household toilets. It is a mini fully integrated wastewater treatment plant that converts sludge into water and energy. Photographed in 2019.
