Caption

Brittle star eating coral. Northern basket star (Gorgonocephalus arcticus, centre, yellow) wrapped around a soft coral (Gersemia fruticosa, white). Brittle stars are related to starfish but, unlike starfish, they can crawl across the sea floor using their flexible arms.
