At birth: - Primary motor-sensory cortex (purple area) - Thalamus (purple spot in center) - Vermis cerebelli (purple spot in the cerebellum) - Brain stem (purple, in front of the cerebellum). From 2 to 3 months: - Parietal lobe (green area) - Primary visual cortex (green area above the cerebellum) - Cerebellar hemisphere (green part of the cerebellum) - Basal ganglion (green area surrounding the thalamus) - Temporal lobe (lower green area). From 6 to 12 months: - Prefrontal cortex (red) - Frontal cortex (orange).
