Storm waves breaking on Chesil Beach, also known as, Chesil Bank, near Chiswell. This protects Weymouth and Portland Harbour from Atlantic storms driving up the English Channel. Chesil Beach is an 18 mile long storm beach of rounded flint and chert pebbles along the south west Dorset coast in the UK.
