Floodwaters in the river Cothi, Carmarthenshire, Wales, UK, in the aftermath of Storm Dennis. Dennis was a European windstorm that struck northwestern Europe in mid-February 2020. It was one of the most intense storms on record, and several rivers in South Wales recorded their highest ever levels. The UK MET Office issued a Red weather warning, the highest level, to the region on 15th February. The storm caused five deaths in the UK.
