Asteroid 234 Barbara, artwork. Computer artwork of Asteroid 234 Barabara (lower right) based on measurements made using the interferometer of the Very Large Telescope (VLT). This device has enabled astronomers to measure sizes of small asteroids in the main belt for the first. The observations suggest that Barbara has a complex concave shape, best described as two bodies that may be in contact. The sun is at upper left.
