Lymphocytes in skin disorder, coloured scanning electron micrograph (SEM). Lymphocytes (red) are seen in inflamed and necrotic tissue. This condition, where pus forms in skin diseases, is also known as pyoderma. Causes may be an infection, or an autoimmune disorder such as pyoderma gangrenosum.
