Arthroscopic procedure being carried out on the shoulder of a patient to repair an injured rotator cuff. The rotator cuff is a group of muscles and tendons that stabilize the shoulder. Arthroscopy is a minimally-invasive procedure (keyhole surgery). A fibre optic camera sends images to a screen, which is used to guide surgery of the affected area.
