Swollen lymph nodes in the neck (cervical lymphadenopathy) in a 34 year old male patient, secondary to acute tonsillitis. Tonsillitis is a bacterial or viral infection that causes a sore throat, often accompanied by fever, and in this case the lymph nodes which help to fight infection have become inflamed.
