Grape skins and seeds (called grape pomace) being recycled by an organic wine farm in Wolseley, Western Cape, South Africa. Grape pomace can be used to create cream of tartar, distilled into spirits like grappa, ground into powdered tannin extract, used as food colouring or turned into animal feed.
