Tracking the movements of tagged male (green) and female (red) great white sharks, off the coast of Baja California, Mexico. At the start of the clip the two pairs mate near Guadalupe Island. After mating they go their separate ways. When it is approaching time to give birth, the two females move into the Gulf of California while the males stay in the open ocean. The great white shark (Carcharodon carcharias) is an apex predator found in warm seas across the world.
