Winter stars set over remnants of Karshahi castle, near Kashan, Iran. Karshahi is the biggest adobe castle in Iran, after Arg-e Bam destruction in 2003 earthquake, registered on Iran National Heritage list. This Qajar mud and adobe castle, with five watchtowers and secret subterranean tunnels and underground passages, was a strong fortress during different periods.
