Fossilised sea cow bones. Fossilised rib-cage of a sea cow of the extinct genus Eosiren, grouped with the dugongs. The dugongs and manatees (both called sea cows) are marine mammals related to the elephants and rock hyraxes. Photographed in the Geological Reserve of Haute-Provence, in the Alpes de Haute-Provence, France.
