Psyllid (Cacopsylla picta) antenna, coloured scanning electron micrograph (SEM). The probes on the end of this antenna contain odour receptors used in reproduction. Psyllids, also known as jumping plant lice, are sap-sucking insects that are a major agricultural and garden pest. Magnification: x600 when printed at 10 centimetres wide.
