Photo essay at the regional hospital complex of Lille, France, hospital Roger Salengro, department of neurosurgery, Gamma knife. Treatment of an acoustic neuroma by stereotaxic radiosurgery (gamma knife). Once the metallic stereotaxic frame is fixed on the skull of the patient, tridimensional geographic markers are written down thanks to a second helmet in plexiglas. It enables to locate the skull of the patient compared to the stereotaxic frame already installed.
