Diver catching a Humboldt squid (Dosidicus gigas). This squid is being caught for scientific monitoring. It will be freed after examination. The Humboldt squid, also known as the jumbo squid, is an aggressive, predatory squid that can swim in groups of more than 1200 individuals. Photographed in Baja, Mexico.
