A male Adelie Penguin (Pygoscelis adeliae) drops a stone at the feet of his mate, who is incubating their single egg on their rock nest. Colony is atop high bluff of Three Sisters Point, King George Island, South Shetland Islands, Bransfield Strait, Antarctica, Oct. The penguins have recently come ashore to form a colony and breed.
