Lambeosaurus. Computer artwork of a male (right), female (left) and juvenile (middle) Lambeosaurus near a river's edge in what is now Montana, USA. Lambeosaurus were herbivorous hadrosaur (duck-billed) dinosaurs that lived during the late Cretaceous period (about 76 to 75 million years ago). They are known for their distinctive hollow cranial crest, the purpose of which is unknown.
