Caption

False killer whale (Pseudorca crassidens) leaping at the water's surface. The false killer whale, like the true killer (Orca) whale, is a member of the oceanic dolphin family (Delphinidae). It is a predator that attacks and kill other cetaceans (whales, dolphins and porpoises). It is found worldwide and can reach lengths of 6 metres. Photographed off the Azores, a group of islands in the northern Atlantic Ocean.
