Caption

As all animals, cats produce excrements (feces) as the end product of their digestion. Bacteria are a prominent component of this end product which also contains undigested substances. Electron microscopy alone cannot be used to identify whether some bacteria are pathogenic. Identification may be accomplished only through microbiological tests. Enhanced SEM. Image width: 10.7 micrometers. Magnification: 9,345x if the image is printed 10 cm wide.
