Three large sunspot groups rotate into view from the eastern limb of the sun. The surrounding spicules bend around the magnetic lines of each active region. A long filament of cooler hydrogen gas flows below the center sunspot group. Equipment Data: Coronado SolarMax .7 angstrom hydrogen-alpha filter; Tele Vue TV-102 telescope at 880mm focal length; Lumenera SKYnyx 2-2 video camera. Combination of 7 individual framed combined into one.
