Several prominences encircle the Sun as a bright active region and darker filaments appear on the disk. The entire disk of the sun was captured in the hydrogen-alpha wavelength of 656.28nm. Equipment Data: Coronado SolarMax .7 angstrom hydrogen-alpha filter; Tele Vue TV-102 telescope at 880mm focal length; Santa Barbra Instruments ST-2000XM camera. A single exposure of .004 second.
