A large active region and sunspot rotates towards the solar limb in this high magnification, hydrogen-alpha image. Three large gaseous prominences, spanning several Earth diameters, stretch from the chromosphere to the Corona. Equipment Data: Solar Spectrum .2 angstrom hydrogen-alpha filter; Astro-Physics AP155 EDT telescope at 3000mm focal length. Combination of 150 individual frames.
