Bai fishing, China. Bai fishermen in junks on Lake Erhai. The Bai people are an ethnic minority population in China, mostly living in the area in and around Dali City and Erhai Lake, in China's south-western Yunnan Province. Erhai Lake is 1972 metres above sea level, with dimensions of 40 by 8 kilometres. It is a vital food source for the Bai, who use trained cormorants to catch the wide variety of carp found in this lake.
