Warped Earth. Conceptual computer artwork of Earth maps showing severe distortion. This warping could represent the effect of strong gravity waves, such as those supposed to exist around black holes and other super-dense objects. The Earth's gravity waves are extremely weak compared to other forces (such as magnetism) and it is extremely difficult to detect gravity waves or particles. The existence of such waves remains controversial.
