Caption

British Isles. Coloured map of the British Isles showing the physical geography. North is at top. The land is coloured according to its height above sea level: low areas are green, higher regions are yellow and brown. The sea is coloured according to its depth so that deeper water is more strongly coloured blue. The British Isles are mainly comprised of two islands, Great Britain (at centre) and Ireland (at left). The highest point is the mountain of Ben Nevis (at upper centre) and the longest river is the Shannon (at lower left). Scale is correct for an image of 1210x885 mm size.
