Cities seen here include Edinburgh (at bottom centre), Glasgow (at bottom left), Dundee (at lower right), and Aberdeen (at upper right). The Grampians form part of the Scottish Highlands, and contain the Cairngorm range of mountains which here appear snow-covered at upper centre. The sea inlets of the Firth of Forth and Moray Firth are at lower centre and top left respectively. Image taken by a Landsat-5 satellite.
