Antarctic research station. The Simpson Building seen is raised yearly on its legs to counteract the build up of snow. It is also known as the Ice and Climate Building (ICB) and is part of the Halley Research Station. ICB houses the Dobson spectrophotometer, which is used to measure ozone levels.
